Welcome to Our Family Farm!

Greetings to all our new neighbors! We are excited to introduce ourselves and share a little about our family and the farm that has been our home for generations. As many of you are new to the area, we want to extend a warm welcome and invite you to get to know us better.

About Our Family

We are the Squires family! Heath, is a 5th generation farmer and hardworking dad who loves to keep the grounds meticulously neat, the brain power behind most of the attractions on the farm that are original, handyman who is a jack of all trades and keeps things running as they should. He also is dedicated to growing and maintaining the crops we produce here on the farm, from plant to harvest. Stephanie, the creative mom who keeps up with the marketing, manages employees, bookkeeping, event planning, and loves to share talks with farm friends that visit! Emily, our oldest daughter, works full time in the public work force and helps out with birthday parties and events when needed and Fall on the Farm is her favorite. Emily is married to Drake, and they are the proud parents of Baby Liam! Lainey, is our youngest daughter who is a cosmologist, but dives into farm duties every chance she gets! She enjoys helping with summer camps, events, birthday parties etc. She loves anything to do with spending time with children visiting the farm and sharing how her life of being raised on a farm is so important to her. Each of us plays a unique role on the farm, contributing to our shared dream of sustainable farming and community engagement.

Our Farm's History

The property has been in our family for 73 years. It started generations ago being used solely for row crop farming and cattle raising. In 2014, we purchased the farm from family and it has grown into a agritourism farm where we welcome communities to visit our operational farm, where fun and farming meet! We take pride in our commitment to sustainable practices and ensuring that our land remains healthy for future generations.

What We Grow

  • Crops: We cultivate sweet corn, potatoes, field corn, sunflowers, zinnias. We hope to expand with more fruits and vegetables soon.

  • Livestock: Our farm is home to chickens, several breed of cows, goats, and donkeys that we care for every day. Owning and raising livestock comes with responsibility , and we work hard each day to provide them with proper care, attention, food, and shelter they deserve.

  • Special Projects: We also engage in special projects throughout the year to connect folks from farm to table.

Community Engagement

We believe that farming is not just about crops and livestock; it’s also about community. We host various events throughout the year, including farm tours, seasonal festivals, & workshops. We would love for you to join us and get involved!
