Southern Palmetto Farms is a family owned farm located in Aynor, SC. We offer exporation, educational experiences, and fun for the whole family. Activities include a mini cotton maze, a corn maze, tractor pull hay rides, play area for kids, petting & feeding zone with farm animals, and lots of other fun adventures along the way! We promise to help family & friends harvest memories to last a lifetime!
Owners Heath and Stephanie Squires are proud to be able to be a part of the farming life. Heath has deep roots in farming. He is a fourth generation farmer who farms with is father and uncles as part of Squires Brothers Farms. They farm cotton, corn, soy beans, wheat, and peanuts. Heath also is in partnership with Squires Turf which is a sod farm operation. Heath & Stephanie have two beautiful girls, Emily and Lainey who are excited about the adventures ahead with Southern Palmetto Farms!
Southern Palmetto Farms offers a petting and feeding area for visitors to get an up close and personal experience with some of our farm animals. Kiko goats, donkeys, cow, and pigs are just a few animals you may see while visiting!
Cotton is such a huge part of everyone's day to day life so we offer visitors a chance to see first hand how cotton matures and then manufactured into items we use everyday! Visitors are guaranteed to learn some really neat facts about cotton during this adventure!
Do you like a challenge? Take a shot at making your way through the 5 acre corn maze. There are check points along the way to keep you on your toes and "steer" you in the right direction as long as you make the right choices. This year's 2019 corn maze was sponsored by Nutrien Ag Solutions of Aynor. The design is from Charlotte's Web!
There is something to do for everyone! Our newest attraction and most talked about is our PIG RACES held on Saturdays! Bumpy barrell train rides, face painting, corn box, animal feedings, fire pit rentals are just a few other fun activites you can choose to do! Also selected dates visit our haunted trail!
